As the anatomical study courses conducted at the Department of Anatomy for medical and dental studies are scheduled to end around April of each academic year; the department along with the medical student councils will organize the annual Royal Funerary Ceremony and Service. For the service, the organizing committee will submit the names of the cadaveric donors to His Majesty the King, where the ceremony be bestowed under royal assent. Consequently, the department would like to request those who wish to attend the funerary ceremony to complete the form as described below.


Please choose one of the two choices mentioned as follows:

1. Family/guardians of the cadaveric donors wish that the organizing committee comprising the Department of Anatomy and Medical Student Council to conduct the funerary ceremony and service in its entirety for the donor O

2. Family/guardians of the cadaveric donors desire to receive and organize their own private funerary service.

The Annual General Meeting of the Supporting Staff of the Department of Anatomy 2016 was held on November 18th 2559. On the agenda concerned the general improvements of work within the department along with the coordination of action along with the SMART strategic framework.

For the 17th Medical Education Conference of Thailand, the Department of Anatomy submitted and presented two poster presentations. The hosts this year of the conference was the Faculty of Medicine, SWU and was held on the 19-21st October, 2016.

Students and staff from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Srinakharinwirot University paid a visit to the Gross Anatomy Museum and gross anatomy lab facilities at the Department of Anatomy, MEDSWU on October 4th, 2016. Mr. Noppadol Intaratat had the honor to be our special presenter of the tour. As you will see below, the visitors were certainly hypnotized by Mr. Intaratat's presentation!

Several departmental staff and graduate students had the opportunity to welcome and to educate nursing students from Kasembundit University. The students were shown around the Gross Anatomy Museum; the gross anatomy, histology and neuroanatomy lab facilities. The visit was held on the 23rd of September 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Assoc. Prof. Wisuit Pradidarcheep and several other department staff took part in a special medical knowledge competition marking Mahidol Day for 2016. Mahidol Day 2016 was held on the 17th of September, 2016 on the 7th floor of the Gross Anatomy building, SWU Prasarnmit.
