Graduate Programs Associated with the Department of Anatomy

1. The Master of Science (M.Sc.) Program and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Program in Biomedical Science

The Biomedical Science Program aims to produce graduate students who are knowledgeable in biomedical sciences with high quality research output. Teaching and learning are based on the integrated human system for students to gain broaden knowledge in multi-disciplinary fields including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology and pharmacology. The courses are provided for students to understand the principles that govern the function of the human body, the molecular mechanisms of disease, diagnostic tools and therapeutic strategies. The students are able to select topics for doing research in the fields of their interest under supervision of the faculty members.

2. The Master of Science (M.Sc.) Program and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Program in Molecular Biology

The graduate programs in molecular biology is run jointly supervised and taught by 6 preclinical science departments at the Faculty of Medicine, Srinakharinwirot University including the Departments of Anatomy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, and Physiology. The aim of our program is to train researchers, to advance the country's knowledge-base, to foster innovation, and boost Thailand's competitiveness on the global stage.

Furthermore, our Faculty has established excellence centers in nanotechnology, neuroscience, and electron microscopy. New divisions have also been established to facilitate research, including the central laboratory division, laboratory animal housing unit, isolation units, and other equipment for research in molecular biology.
