The Department of Anatomy was founded in 1985, along with the establishment of the Facultyof Medicine, Srinakharinwirot University with the responsibility in providing pre-clinical instruction of anatomy.
The 7-floored "Anatomy Building" comprises: 1st floor: cadaver-preservation and preparation 2nd floor: the department administrative offices and the Anatomical Museum 3rd floor: Neuroscience and histology 4th floor: Instructors' rooms + Research Units 5th floor: Gross anatomy dissection rooms 6th floor: Room 601: lecture hall 7th floor: Conference hall of the Faculty
The anatomical museum is situated on the second floor and constantly curated to possess numerous plastinated cadavers, models and embryonic specimens for viewing.
The room contains 40 or more cadavers for dissection by medical and dental students.
