Faculty of Medicine celebrates 2024 with Sport Day, holding MEDSWU values through athletic competition and community engagement.
To mark the commencement of the 2024 academic year, our faculty hosted a spirited sports event under the banner of MEDSWU, signifying our commitment to the values it embodies. Participants were divided into six teams, each representing a core principle: Merit (white), Excellence (yellow), Devotion (purple), Social Responsibility (red), Work Smart (gray), and Unity (green). The program comprised exciting athletic competitions alongside vibrant parades and artistic performances, fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and community engagement.
We are truly grateful to everyone who contributed to the recent MEDSWU Sporting Event, both organizers and participants alike. The dedication, determination, and spirit of unity showcased during the event were truly inspiring. While competition is an important element, the emphasis remained on camaraderie and forging lasting friendships. The event proved instrumental in fostering a stronger sense of community, bridging the gap between faculty and staff. We are delighted to say that the event concluded on a high note, leaving everyone with a sense of satisfaction and lasting positive impressions.
